MapleColours started as a one-person photography practice in London, Ontario. Clients kept asking the same follow-up question: the photos are lovely, but who puts them on the website? Who posts them? Who shoots the wedding?
Rather than hand people off to strangers, we learned the next thing, and then the one after that. Today we're a small team covering photography, event and wedding content, social media marketing, and web design — working with independent brands, restaurants, studios and couples across Canada.
We're deliberately small. You'll talk to the people doing the work, not an account manager relaying messages, and we take on a limited number of projects at a time so nothing sits in a queue.

How we work
The rules we
kept.
Plain language
No jargon in proposals, no mystery line items on invoices. If we can't explain why something costs what it costs, we shouldn't be charging for it.
Fixed quotes
You get a number before we start, and that number holds unless the scope genuinely changes — in which case you approve it first.
You own everything
Full commercial rights to your images, your domain in your name, your hosting on your account. Nothing is held hostage if you leave.
